BAYT BAABDAT - GUESTHOUSE

Stone, Sun & Slow Mornings.
Baabdat, Mount Lebanon — 20 minutes from Beirut, a world away.

Check our posts in instagram  or Facebook (directly call 961 3 863671), one word returns in every frame: Tranquil. Not luxury for show. Luxury of peace.

1. WHO WE ARE

Bayt Baabdat is not a rental. It is a house that opens its doors.

A restored Lebanese stone house in the heart of Baabdat, built around what we believe matters most today: silence, sun, stone, and people around a table. We are a private guesthouse for those who want to leave the city without leaving warmth.

2. THE PHILOSOPHY: YOUR HOUSE FOR THE DAY

Stone. Thick, honest mountain stone walls, warm log lighting, a living room that feels lived-in, not decorated. Rustic-chic, but Lebanese at its core.

Sun. A garden breakfast under the trees — manakeesh, labneh, olives — slow mornings reconnecting with nature. That photo from Aug 17 is your signature. It's not breakfast, it's a ritual.

Cool Mountain Breeze. the pool at night on a wooden deck, string lights, greenery, caption "Cool mountain breeze." Day and night, the garden changes. Sunny peace, then nocturnal magic.

We don't host guests. We host moments of return.

3. THE HOUSE

  • The Living: Cozy stone living room with fireplace, warm lighting, handcrafted details — designed for winter nights and long conversations.
  • The Garden: Landscaped outdoor patio, long table for gatherings, private pathways surrounded by pine and greenery.
  • The Pool: Small wooden-deck pool, nestled under trees. For sunny days and moonlit evenings.
  • The Sleep: Minimalist bedrooms, staged with linen, stone and wood — calm, not cluttered. Sleeps 8-10 comfortably.
  • The Location: Baabdat village, Mount Lebanon. 20 mins from Beirut, 900m altitude. The village of clean air and old stone houses.

4. WHAT WE OFFER

5. WHY BAABDAT? WHY NOW?

In a Lebanon that moves fast, Bayt Baabdat moves slow.

Bayt Baabdat is for:

  • Lebanese who want to reconnect with the mountain house of their grandparents, but with modern comfort
  • Travelers who want a nature-filled stay, not a resort
  • Hosts who want their celebration to feel like home, not a venue.
